Human beings become stagnant in the same state of affairs over time (thirty seven years is a long time). Change and renewal are essential for long term survival. Business leaders are selected to be accountable for delivering results; when results are bad, the leaders are usually fired. Progressive companies rotate their managers every three to five years to spark revitalization.
